Dinner: Exactly What I Wanted

Rachel and I were still pretty full from lunch, but we wanted a hearty snack to fuel our night of activities. I had to pick up some groceries from Whole Foods, so we decided to pick up a snack there.
We literally picked out exactly what we felt like eating. It wasn’t about what we thought we “should” eat, or worrying about making sure it was balanced. It was about deciding EXACTLY what we were craving and eating that. I find when I eat exactly what you want, I’m so much less likely to pick or nosh all day.
Sometimes it’s not realistic to eat exactly what you want (my work doesn’t stock loaded twice-baked potatoes, for example), but when you can, it’s so worth it.
So what exactly did I want? Well, the lobster bisque just called my name. That was exactly what I wanted, so I got a small portion and called it dinner.

Oh, and a small piece of dark lemon-ginger chocolate. Exactly what I wanted, totally satisfying, and 100% guilt-free.
