Friday Day in Food
Breakfast, 9:30am: Oikos vanilla Greek yogurt, nectarine, almonds (I may mix everything together, who knows?).
The nice people at Stonyfield sent me some coupons to try their Greek yogurt. I never met a Greek yogurt I didn’t like, and this is no exception. Oikos may be good for Greek newbies because most of their flavors (strawberry, blueberry, etc.) are fruit on the bottom, just like many traditional yogurts. And obviously they’re not as tart as plain Greek yogurt (which tastes more like sour cream than yogurt).

After a haitus from Greek yogurt, I think it’s made its return to my life for good. It’s just so versatile, satisfying, and delicious. If the two dairy products in my life are Greek yogurt and cheese, I’m perfectly fine with that!
By the way, thank you all for sending in your awesome Profiles of a Healthy Eater! They’re great and I can’t wait to start posting them, starting this Monday with a special guest profile.
